3D Laser Marking Machine

Laser marking technology is used to mechanically engrave marks, logos, and serial numbers on different items for identification purposes. Such markings are resistant to fading and deterioration over time, thus enduring for the long term. Branding and identification is long lasting. 3D Laser:

• The Z-axis changes in concert with X and Y horizontals while ensuring the position of the laser beam stays calibrated in focus for the Z coordinate.

The following explains how different factors affect engraving depth as it pertains to marking materials:

• Standard Laser Marking: Usually, its markings range from a few microns to half a millimeter (500 microns) and is suitable for superficial markings.
• Deep Laser Engraving: Capable of achieving as much as 5mm deep engravings on metals such as steel and titanium, but the amount of power used and the type of material affects the engraving.
• Factors Influancing Depth: Greater laser power, slower speed, and repetition increase depth. Type of material, such as aluminum against stainless steel, will also affect how deep the marking will be.
